Luckily O/H was in and he dealt with it.
 Share this content via...
mad-dad 29 #146 Posted September 28, 2019 I currently have a massive specimen trundling around my house. Legs like 4 rugby players glued together ……. and it can't half shift. Got a bit attached actually, so I've given it a name "Bus width" (8 feet).
 Share this content via...
Hadron 10 #147 Posted September 28, 2019 They used to be camouflaged on the carpet but now we have hard floors they stick out a mile and can get some speed up. I chuck them in the pond for the fish
 Share this content via...

House spiders are harmless and are a good way to keep 'Flying insects' like Flies under control. An old saying..."If you want to live and Thrive, leave the spider alive... No - it’s; ”If you want to live and thrive, purchase a flamethrower from the internet and obliterate the room the spider is in. catmiss 12 #153 Posted September 30, 2019 Don’t mind the spiders, it’s the crafty moths I can’t stand. They lull you into a false sense of security by playing dead and then fluttering round like mad when you try and move them
 Share this content via...

I swear by the conker theory, my late wife and I used to go out collecting conkers.. she would spread them all round the house, never saw a spider.. Don"t bother now and the spiders are back, not that it bothers me.. Don"t these spider repellents have some sort of Horse Chestnut ingredient in them.
