Twitcher   10 #3 Posted September 2, 2013 Boyfriday, the best thing I ever bought was the 'Spider catcher' you can keep them at arms length and then put them back outside, they may come back in but at least I know they're not in the same room as me for now! I can't even hoover up their dead carcasses  I've a device that I plug in that supposedly acts as a deterrent, but all it seems to do is agitate the arachnids that otherwise would be sleeping behind my skirting board Edited September 2, 2013 by boyfriday
 Share this content via...
Twitcher   10 #5 Posted September 2, 2013 Honest, there was no one more scared than me....now I am confident! http://www.amazon.co.uk/Primrose-London-Spider-Catcher/dp/B003U3PSWE/ref=sr_1_3?ihttp://www.amazon.co.uk/Primrose-London-Spider-Catcher/dp/B003U3PSWE/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1378113895&sr  It's the only thing that works for me, I used to use a glass and paper but that meant having to get up close which was bad.... dnbraver1 Â Â 10 #12 Posted September 2, 2013 spider catchers are awesome. I used to be terrified, to the point where i couldnt even put a glass over them and if i did i would leave them there until a friend came round to rescue it. but since i bought my spider catcher i am no longer scared even with the huge ones, i see one, get my catcher and throw them outside. No one can say they are more scared than anyone else, just get a catcher and see for yourself, you will no longet be petrified of the horrid little things.
