BEDROCK Â Â 10 #1 Posted August 29, 2013 (edited) Which websites do you lot use for your software solutions? Â I am especially interested in freeware websites that have the latest versions that do not bundle junk in the links. megalithic   10 #4 Posted August 30, 2013 (edited) I just go wherever.  It actually takes less time to untick the extra prog boxes than it does to find a "clean" download in most cases when you're installing freeware. I tell people to avoid Cnet, doesn't stop me using it though.  In this area the paranoia/time balance is way off and i'm not about to start compiling a list of "best freeware download sites" for the criminally inept to perpetuate it.  Btw Bedders, you have so much time on your hands you should be an expert on this if you've any interest. Maybe even your worst thread to date. This could have been a thread where you used your spare time constructively to compile such a list couldn't it ?  Disappointed.  Just saying. stereolab   10 #11 Posted August 30, 2013 Just use the developers site. Get it direct.  Why would you use a third party site?
 Share this content via...
