monkey104 Â Â 10 #1 Posted August 29, 2013 On now, the manor has the highest rate of single female parent families in the UK. Makes you proud.
 Share this content via...

diamondjack   10 #5 Posted August 29, 2013 my daughter is a single parent and lives on the Manor and whilst neither of them were by choice - she is now very happy with her life. She has got a good job, two beautiful children who are polite and well behaved, she has got very nice neighbours and says she doent want to move. Just because someone is a single parent and lives on the manor doesnt make them a bad person. No-one calls the men who often leave the household making it become a single person household
 Share this content via...

Bojolo   10 #9 Posted August 29, 2013 How did a post about the absent fathers program turn into 'young girls get pregnant to get a council house'?  I thought they gave a balanced view. Of the estate and actually made it look a lot better than its reputation would have you believe.  What was really a joke was they guy who thought that he wasn't an absent father because he bought them a birthday present and sent them a Christmas card! That's just teasing (I speak from personal experience). Either be around properly or get lost all together.  Its not DNA that makes a Dad, its instinct.  Glad my stepdad was brilliant and my granddad was awesome.  ---------- Post added 29-08-2013 at 21:14 ----------  Are young girls driven by ambition to get pregnant?  Are young males driven by the ambition to get a girl pregnant? Blinks   10 #11 Posted August 29, 2013 Many deliberately get pregnant knowing it will get them a council property .  No it doesn't - That's just repeating another myth that gets repeated....and repeated.....and then many start to beleive it, like you. It doesn't work like that anymore.
 Share this content via...
