How much do you spend on your weekly shop?

I spend £50 - £60 a week on shopping I reckon. Nearly all shops own brands and as others have said buy what I will use. There's no waste in our house, we can't afford it.

There's me and 4 kids to feed.

Gulp, I'm not saying but since we cut down on the booze the bill has definitely reduced.

Around £55 for 2 adults and feeding a cat, plus the occasional purchase of household goods. We sit down and plan what meals we'd like for the week though so we don't just aimlessly go round the supermarket buying random things, and never go shopping when you're hungry!

I don’t really shop ‘weekly’. I find it more convenient to purchase small amounts several times a week, depending upon what I fancy. I reckon it should be about 75 pounds a week for victuals and sundry commodities, which includes getting luncheon at Sainsbury’s during the working week.
