How good is it made out to be?

 

my partner might be able to work full (she only works 15 hrs at the moment) time but i cant work due to disabillity.If i'v read it right we might be able to get our money topped up.

He/she has to work 16 hours or more to get Working Tax credits. Look into it though. You're entitled to it if you qualify.

 

Any children? There is also Child Tax Credits.

she might be able to get 37 hrs but only on band1 (N H S),she's been trying for over a year now to get full time.

no children,all grown up and flew the nest,i'm 60 next year.

My wife is 60 and works 25 hours a week. Can she claim tax credits or does it depend on my earnings and/or any savings. Our kids are grown up.

Sorry, because your total income is more than £13,000 a year, you probably don't qualify for tax credits

 

I guess there just aren't enough millionaire around.
