Where can I get a double bed frame cheap?

I am trying to help a friend of mine who hasn't got a bed or any money so does anyone know where I can get a double bed frame for about £20-£25 If it is disassembled I can collect?thankyou

There is a place right at the Wicker arches that sells various types of, I think, second hand but in good condition furniture.

I wish you would have posted this on friday or yesterday as I've just taken a flatpack double with mattress to the tip...you could have had it for nothing keep an eye on gumtree though as you can normally find something.

Hope you manage to find something, its horrible not having a bed to sleep on (when its not through choice obviously)

If they are on benefits ring St Vincents. They do a policy where they collect unwanted furniture and deliver to those in need. Mattresses are often not available, but bases are often there.
