Flying helmets in Attercliffe.

Recommended Posts

Does anybody remember when when kids used to wear second world war flying helmets, this was in the early 1950's. We had a choice of leather or canvas depending on how much pocket money we had. Funny thing is old flying helmets go for £100 on ebay.

Wish this forum had a 'like' button to click as per 'facebook'. I would have clicked it to show that I have read and appreciate this post. I often feel that maybe nobody has looked at my posts. Wish I had known about these helmets in the early fifties and would have loved to have one.
