Bumble Bees in my loft

Recommended Posts

I have bumble bees in my loft.

The council want £48 to for pest control to remove them.

Does anyone know a free alternative, Is there anything that will drive them away?

:help:

Doesn't that just make them drowsy?

Smoke pellets are very cheap.

Mole smokes finish them off big style, but are they not a protected species ?

Leave them alone, they will be gone soon.

Spend the £48 on something nice.

I think they're a protected species, so best for you not to deal with them direct

I would prefer to leave them but am getting 2 - 3 bees in my bedroom each morning.

I agree, bumble bees are lovely, and do no harm. Come September they will be gone.

Can you leave a window open - they rarely sting and are not like wasps. ;)

Leave them alone another 3 weeks they will go never to be seen again .You will cause yourself a big prob if you stsrt disturbing them . Dont block there entrance thats when they start looking for an alternative way in and finish up all over the house. If you try to kill them there are hundreds that are not in the hive out collecting so LEAVE THEM ALONE .OPEN A WINDOW LET THEM OUT :loopy:

We leave the windows open but they just buzz round the house. My partner is terrified of them!

I just need them gone - now
