Recommended Posts

I lived in Stocksbridge as a child the steel works noises are kind of comforting to me in a strange way! I don't dislike the clanking lol :-)

If I was upset about that I'd speak to my neighbours directly although I wouldn't be upset by that at 8.30am, I would be upset if it started at 1am and continued right thru til 9am

Sounds like alot of people were having a good time. Im sure its not every weekend.

Don't the police break up raves anymore?

Why should they?

Life is hard enough as it is these days. Let people have a dance and blow off some steam.

If enough people complain then the police might investigate.

Mind you, it's nice to have some fun now and again.

Nothing against people enjoying themselves as long as they aren't disturbing others and aren't breaking the law in doing so.

Donnakebab70 stated that it was over Don Valley way which isnt really a residential area.

Im sure they didnt want to disturb anyone but i guess the sound traveled a bit and some people caught some of it.

So why get the police to break it up? Im sure there was alot of people having fun & and a bit of a dance.

Do you mean cigarettes, alcohol & god forbid; coffee?

Its is summer, maybe some people are taking anti histamines.
