bnnice1 Â Â 10 #1 Posted August 1, 2013 should our primary School include moral values in school curriculum? Â Do you think our Children are taught with discipline or given too much power, and where is the balance? Â My opinion is that parents and school Education system have shared responsibility to bring up children with loving care to enhance their potential. Â If we are role models of our Children at home and at School, they will grow to change the world. Its a change of a mind set. The change of mindset has to start from the adults
 Share this content via...
Chez2 Â Â 10 #2 Posted August 3, 2013 I agree that it should be the joint responsibility of parents and schools but what if the parents don't have 'reasonable' values? How do we define 'reasonable'? Â I know my sense of what is acceptable is far higher than others. I can't abide people who aren't polite, manners and consideration cost nothing. bnnice1 Â Â 10 #3 Posted August 3, 2013 Reasonable should be whats acceptable in general community. Many kids are just in need of direction to find themselves doing well in School and community, if they also raised with atmost love and discipline. Â Just explaining reality to kids and teach them responsiblity for their actions, doesnt mean purnishment. Good effective and consistent communication both at home and in schools. Children are important and sensitive individuals. Â ---------- Post added 03-08-2013 at 22:35 ---------- Â Love, patience, compassion, Humility, Confidence, Hope, determination, boldness can not be taught at home or school. There are schools for moral values and they are life time lessons for both parents and children. Â Love is the centre of everything in life, its a language without barriers and embraced by everyone. Â LOVEWORLD TV and comminity teaches us in our family these moral values, as a reality. It transforms many lives no matter what your background. Love is so powerful and irresistable to mankind. Â My family discovered A Church "Christ Embassy" TV Channel on SKY 586: LOVEWORLD TV. We also have a social network http://www.yookos.com. Â If anyone desires change of a mindset in life, its possible irrespective of background and experiences. bnnice1 Â Â 10 #11 Posted August 9, 2013 I actually came on here to discuss moral values from my stand point, it's important how to bring our kids. Yes religion can mis guide or mislead people. Â Christianity is not religion, its a lifestlye. I don't blame who thinks that it's dated, especially those who never knew God. My children are brought up in Church but not forced to believe. When they grow up, they won't be weak, to suffer depression, discouragement or failure. They already know they're special, strong, confident and bold. They are not WEAK because they respect others. They certainly won't trodden on because the understand there position in life. Full of determination and persistence. People who are weak in ignorance always think they are strong. I was weak once, told by surgeons and new age scientists that I will never walk again. But now after four years on the bed, I found out that human intelligence is limited. I not only walk, but I have a very beautiful wife, children and a life of success.
 Share this content via...
