Garage Recommendations

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm looking to take my car somewhere to get the brakes looked at - I'm a little far from my local trusted garage so I'm looking for somewhere near Sheffield City Centre the closer to s7 the better).

Basically, I'm looking to get the brakes looked at but not necessarily get any work done. I just want to know if there is any damage there etc.

So along those lines - could anyone recommend me a garage that can be trusted and have decent and fair prices if I do actually get the work done?

I've thought about just popping in to a Kwik Fit centre to get the brakes looked at but not get the work done (as they're rip off merchants).

Any suggestions?

S7, then T & M, Archer Road are tops. Ecclesfield isn't very close to S7!

Exactly! I no longer live near this garage, but I wouldn't go anywhere else.

First class job at the right price.

I want it close as I'm only really wanting to drop in and get the brakes looked at - I do have a garage that I'd use for getting work done but I'm wanting to drop in while I'm at work and it's a little too far for that. Just trying to diagnose the issue and see if it would be worth getting the parts myself or not.

Thanks for the responses so far, going to get in touch with T & M.

No offence taken! As long as suggestions are helpful to the OP, then all is well.
