frank ryan   10 #1 Posted July 30, 2013 this brave, decent and humane man is about to be buried in some yank dungeon for the rest of his life for allowing us to see the truth about what his country and ours are visiting on the citizens of other lands.  how can we help this hero? we can't - he's a dead man breathing - boycott US goods? won't make a zero of difference and our government is equally to blame - stand up & shout 'I'm bradley manning' - but we're at home.  you'll never read this bradley, but there are people all over the world who salute your bravery and recognize your sacrifice. Electerrific   14 #3 Posted July 30, 2013 Yanks have some great aspects to them, but they bang on about freedom and democracy? Hypocritical cr4p.  They have Capital Punishment, along with the world nations they criticise?  Then they do whatever they want worldwide- not in the distant British Empire, but in today's supposedly enlightened world? frank ryan   10 #6 Posted July 30, 2013 'yanks' - ordinary american people, are not the problem - they're victims, they and their kids swallow the BS and become brutalized in the way that manning has shown in all its disgusting detail- 30,000 a year die from guns and they fight like tigers for their gun rights!  manning allowed us to see the details of war that were freely available in the vietnam , the world saw what the extermination of 5 million people in a tiny country looks like and the slaughter ended, the US hierarchy vowed that that would never happen again - manning acted as a journalist and will pay for the rest of his life - bless him.  ---------- Post added 30-07-2013 at 20:42 ----------  As it's in America, it's little to do with us. frank ryan   10 #9 Posted July 30, 2013 Keep strong Bradley Manning!  keep alive bradley manning - altho every day of it will be torture, they'll emotionally torture him every moment of every day - don't disagree, don't act, don't tell or you'll end up like manning.  what we can do is support juliian assange, still holed up in the ecuador embassy for voicing the truth - the CIA led accusation is that he 1. had sex without a condom 2 had sex with his sleeping girlfriend - neither is a crime anywhere else but sweden - real crime? publishing manning's material - vid from a US helicopter that's killed a child - the pilot coldly saying it was 'their fault' - on you tube people, watch it
 Share this content via...

No thanks. He's thrown manning and everyone else who helped him under the bus at the earliest opportunity when he realised it was all going pear shaped. I also don't think he'll be paying back the people who stumped up thousands for his bail. I'm sure they understand.
 Share this content via...
