DerbyTup   10 #1382 Posted August 19, 2018 We face poisoning for corporate pocket lining. Shame on them.   Put another way...  The cost of energy is rising at alarming rates, so we need to find cheaper ways of generating energy. Consumers want and need cheaper energy - this is one way of achieving that. It comes with unknown risks.
 Share this content via...

They are the waste products of a chemical reaction which produced energy to drive the car; they don't contain any useful energy themselves. Obodoart   10 #1384 Posted August 19, 2018 Fracking is not a good idea. We should be building homes that are more efficient to heat and run.  ---------- Post added 19-08-2018 at 13:00 ----------  No need for fracking if they would just use some sense hydrogen burns in oxygen we can build internal combustion engines that run on water  carbon burns in oxygen I can't see why we seem to be unable build engines that run on CO2  no fracking necessary and the solution to another so called problem  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stanley_Meyer%27s_water_fuel_cell  Classic
 Share this content via...

We ought to be doing way more than that.  Then there's Geothermal energy from below ground to harvest...No real need for Gas and Nuclear or fracking.! We ought to be doing way more than that.  Then there's Geothermal energy from below ground to harvest...No real need for Gas and Nuclear or fracking.!  We need to be wary of using the sun's energy due to forced photo-voltaic drainage. This is the process whereby energy is sucked away from the sun due to the use of solar panels. All you need to know is here: National Report. Annie Bynnol   612 #1389 Posted August 24, 2018 Its a valid theory, comparable to wearing out glasses and mirrors by looking at or through them too often.  One factor not taken into account is that the panels reflect more heat energy than the ground/roof they replace. Therefore cooling the Earth down and warming the Sun up. The consequences of warming the Sun up could be disastrous.
 Share this content via...
