one of the ukrainians has been charged with murder and will appear in court

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-23403961

the other ones been released without charge

http://www.whitbygazette.co.uk/news/national/man-held-over-mosque-attacks-freed-1-5879070

BUT

is helping police as a "witness"

Good- at least some consolation for the victim's family.

One wonders if this Ukrainian actually came here to commit this type of terrorism- only been in UK since April this year, victim was stabbed in same month and then later the mosque bombings.

indeed, im quite interested in his story and motive, there seems to be something going on, to only be here 3 or so months and be right in the middle of all this, the police called the murder a terrorist murder, not sure ive heard that term before, must mean its political or religiously based?

Mosque blast terror suspect held over Mohammed Saleem murder

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-birmingham-23392374

This becomes ever more bizarre as police charge a Ukranian postgraduate for Mr Saleem's murder

The student, in the UK on a sponsored work placement at a software firm based in the Small Heath area of Birmingham, was then arrested on suspicion of Mr Saleem's murder on July 20.

Looking at the dates he entered the UK on 24th of April and is alleged to have committed the murder 5 days later. If the alegations are true it would suggest quite strongly he came here to commit terrorism, which begs the question why? A lone wolf from a country with half a million plus muslims decides to travel here to commit a brutal murder, but then set off some ineffectual bombs which cause about £2 worth of damage.

An odd one, acting alone doesn't ring true but if its a conspiracy to import him as a "hitman" type terrorist then the badly timed/badly made bombs don't ring true. Odd and very sinister.

just doing some googling on the subject to find out more

found the following

Police said detectives did not believe there was any ongoing threat from the case, and were working with Ukrainian officials to learn more about Lapshyn's past

which is good news

Either way- you're not going to get Muslims holding all Ukrainians responsible for this crime..

Another Breivik, by the sound of it, complete nutter.

Indeed, and if he is guilty an indicator that extremists (from both sides), aren't representative of the communities that they claim to represent.

ah cheers for that, so his motive was right wing, i was googling for info about a positive motive etc but all i found were pages and pages of the same article from around the world saying hed been charged lol

seems odd he came over here and immediately started a terror campaign however
