not 100% sure punch taveners make there tenats buy from their suppliers even down tot he bog role

The customers allow it to continue as a viable business, if they all had a week off, perhaps the prices would become more realistic!

I went to the local, ordered a bottle of cider and a pint of beer and it cost eight quid. I never bothered going back.

No. The pubco would just use lack of custom as an excuse to sell the building for flats.

yeah right, the licensee price according to what they have to pay the pubco in rent/stock etc etc with a tiny bit on top, if people stopped going most likely the pubco would get another tenent in eventually at a similer price.........or like taxman said eventually seel the pub for flats or a car park
