Casablanca (1942) is one of the greatest films of all time, B&W or colour.

Casablanca (1942) is widely cited as the greatest film of all time and was voted as such by readers of the Los Angeles Daily News in 1997. It is also regarded the "best Hollywood movie of all time" by the influential Leonard Maltin's Movie Guide.

How green is my valley, Hell drivers - with Stanley Baker is it?

Also that great American classic with Gregory Peck, as Atticus Finch - To Kill a Mockingbird.

I have thought of another; is Campbell's Kingdom in black and white?

Lots of great B & W films, most of the best comedies were filmed that way, and movies of most genres.

King Kong.

I can't think of any films that have had such a profound influence on cinema in terms of scope and majesty in the way Kong has after 80 years!

Got to say that's a brilliant fact, well done I'd forgot that classic with Faye Wray

It's not the best but it's one of my favourites - The Manchurian Candidate.
