Is it just me, or does everyone else think The Star newspaper is rather well, dated and drab?

 

I see they updated their website recently which was well overdue but the news highlights just don't have any drive or energy about them, like the reporters are not really pushing boundaries.

 

It may be just my opinion but think things need a shake up, maybe a new direction.

 

Or some other outlet brings out local papers that can embrace the modern world we live in.

I reckon newspapers have had their day. The internet has seen to that. The Star is just bumbling along trying to delay the inevitable. Everything changes.

Printed media is diminishing due to high productions costs. Printed newspapers will be one of the casualties unfortunately. I forecast most of the regional press will be only available on line within 10 years.

The star is owned by johnson s publishing,a huge organisation,lots of cost cutting,the fore everyone wants to keep there job,so no enthusiasm for real reporting
