Rosa 10 #1 Posted July 2, 2013 Hi all, We have just had an email from this rescue and they have had their account card cloned and all their funds for the rescue taken out! So shocking. They are now down to just having £1.36 only for the rescue. Shame on the thieves that stole that from them.
 Share this content via...
medusa 16 #2 Posted July 2, 2013 Some people have no conscience, but sadly stealing from charities is a fairly common, if despicable, thing. I hope that they are able to keep going.
 Share this content via...
megalithic 10 #3 Posted July 2, 2013 If it's fraud they should be covered and reimbursed.
 Share this content via...
Rosa 10 #4 Posted July 2, 2013 Yes i guess they might get the money back, but it will take a while and in the meantime they are penniless.
 Share this content via...

dogs4life 10 #8 Posted July 3, 2013 If it's fraud they should be covered and reimbursed. The rescue is hoping this is the case however, the sticking point at the minute seems that as the card details had been shared with two other admin staff the bank could refuse to refund any monies lost. On a positive note the rescue has received enough money over the last 24 hours from decent caring people to keep going
 Share this content via...
