kim.bent 10 #1 Posted June 17, 2013 Any one got ideas to help me! I am a teacher and need to create a stall at a school fair with the theme 'made in Sheffield' The way it works is we get a £10 float to set it up and then what we make minus the £10 goes to charity. It is only other school children spending at the stall so needs to be a cheap cost per go/item, and needs to be popular so that a lot of children want to pay for a go/item from our stall. Any one got any ideas or even better anything that you could lend out for the event!!! Thanks
 Share this content via...

diamondjack 10 #3 Posted June 17, 2013 buy some licquorice allsorts (made in Sheffield) put them in a large jar and then let the kids pay to guess how many are in. The closest wins them for their class. Any money left over put small dishes of them on the stall for the kids to sample the goods! charlotta 10 #4 Posted June 17, 2013 Perhaps cupcake icing? Biscuit icing? You can get the ingredients for cheap and then perhaps they could ice their own cakes and take them?
 Share this content via...
MonkeyLover 10 #5 Posted June 17, 2013 Get a packet of straws, hide a raffle ticket or some other distinctive piece of paper in the end of some of them. Let the kids pay to pull out a straw, the ones with tickets win a bottle of Hendersons relish!
 Share this content via...

hodgepodge 10 #7 Posted June 17, 2013 you could do a Guess Whats in the Box game, ie cardboard boxes with something made in Sheffield in....perhaps a fork, a horse shoe, a matchbox tram etc, but each box is filled with something progressively yucky.......cornflakes, yoghurt, shredded newspaper etc. A big bowl of hand washing soap and water at the end. Even big kids love mess.
 Share this content via...

Mr Bloom 10 #9 Posted June 18, 2013 A little mester and a buffer girl dress up costume for the kids - they put the clothes on have their photo taken and you put it in a simple card frame that has the date of the summer fair, name of the school on and 'Made In Sheffield' at the bottom for £1.50 with extra prints for grandparents at a £1. Take their name and class details and then deliver them to classes next week. Or, as Sheffield is the home of football, a board with holes in, and if they can kick the ball through the a hole, they get a prize, or even if they can 'score' past their teacher.
