Recommended Posts

I am new to this site and don't know how it works but I am pregnant and still need several things for my child I an looking for help. I would like to borrow 100 over 6 weeks repaying 20 a week on a Thursday I realise I could save the 20 a week for the items but if I go into labour early I wouldn't have the things I need.

I don't want negative comments please if the post offends you please don't comment im trying to do best for my family.

This isn't money related, but if you look through the Swap/Give Away section you may find a few bits for the baby (depending on what you need) without you having to take a loan.

People here will tell you to keep clear of payday loan like places. If the above doesn't help, maybe try the Credit Union in town? It's near Ponds Forge.

Oh, maybe try the wanted area as well?

What do you need ? Maybe people on here could offer you their spare items instead of getting into debt.

No one will lend you £100 over 6 weeks for just a £20 return. Any door step lending firm will want at least £50.

As above, use the boards to see what is going for free. If you need a loan then you are not in a financial position to buy new, so see what you can get for free from the board and friends, without going into debt.

When you get a few more posts[think its ten but not sure]you can then place an add on items wanted, good luck.:)

If you have a new born on the way it'll be a while until you need a high chair.

If the rules for the wanted section are the same as the for sale section, I believe you have to have made 5 posts, and have been a member for at least a week.

Ask on Freegle / Freecyle or pop into a local charity shop. You might pick soem things up in the Admag, out Wednesday and Saturday. Some items may have only been used by grand parents at their house so may only be lightly used.
