Womerry2 Â Â 10 #2 Posted June 10, 2013 You are brave. And possibly misguided But try Asos online (they also have a no hassle returns policy).
 Share this content via...

Pixie824 Â Â 10 #5 Posted June 10, 2013 H&M is pretty good as well as the other places people have mentioned, but check her clothes before you go so you know her size! Depending on what/when you want it for, when I'm going out girly I like 50's style swing dresses, look on ebay. Sirens and starlets is a great ebay shop for girly dresses. Good luck
 Share this content via...
JFKvsNixon   10 #6 Posted June 10, 2013 I want to buy a "surprise" party dress for a very girly 16 year old and I haven't a clue what the best places are to look....any ideas please?  If the 16 year old is like any 16 year old that I knew, they'd probably appreciate choosing the dress themselves. xshotgunlove   10 #7 Posted June 10, 2013 Try sites like Forever 21, Asos and Missguided - they do some lovely stuff & it's not very expensive either!
 Share this content via...

Chez2 Â Â 10 #10 Posted June 11, 2013 Book a personal shopper appointment for her in Debenhams. You will have a private changing room with an assistant running round for you. They supply free soft drinks, tea or coffee while you wait. You don't have to buy anything if they don't find you anything you like. Â Its usually easier to book an appointment on line but Ive just checked and the website is down at the moment so you need to phone up. jasd75 Â Â 10 #11 Posted June 11, 2013 I want to buy a "surprise" party dress for a very girly 16 year old and I haven't a clue what the best places are to look....any ideas please? Â This is a very high risk maneuver. If you don't even know where to buy it from the likelihood of picking 'correctly' is very low... Huxley   10 #12 Posted June 11, 2013 It really is a difficult task isn't it? I know the sort of stuff she likes and will look good in...she really is very girly and skinny, and I know the sorts of colours she likes...but not having kids of my own means it's not the sort of outlet I'd normally find myself in! Thanks for all the suggestions - it's great to have a starting point....watch this space for the updates!!!!!
 Share this content via...
