adamd   10 #1 Posted June 9, 2013 I am a single 43 year old bloke and I am bored, Is there a nice lady out there who is in the same situation as me?  If there is how do I find her?
 Share this content via...
mrplodge   10 #2 Posted June 9, 2013 Join eharmony probably a three month trial for thirty quid. Lots of women in their forties on there. If you prefer to meet from socialising then thats fine but online dating just cut to the chase and meet up.
 Share this content via...

It is a superficial way, we should go out have beer and try to meet a lady, love will find a way if you want it to:)) good luck I agree, dating sites, although theoretically a great method, are too forced and can seem desperate.  The other option, go to the tacky and expensive bars/meat markets on West St? Jive Knight   11 #10 Posted June 23, 2013 (edited) You're not bored because you are single. Finding another bored person to be with doesn't mean you won't be bored. Do you think that people in relationships are never bored?  You are bored because you are not doing stuff that you enjoy.  Find stuff to do that you enjoy, and not only will the boredom go away, you might just meet a woman who enjoys that hobby too and you can enjoy doing it together. Neelix's post about City Socialising is one lead, I'm sure someone from Spice will pop up here sooner or later to promote their activities which give you a lot of chances to sample hobbies, and to meet people.  Personally, I'm single, and looking for romance, but for someone to share my good life with, not someone to give me a life. I am not bored because there is so much to do in this world... Edited June 23, 2013 by Jive Knight
 Share this content via...
Arrr Sez I   10 #11 Posted June 23, 2013 Personally, I'm single, and looking for romance  You should have just started with that. I nearly didn't get to the good bit because I'd practically fallen asleep.  ANYWAY I'm all about the romance baby, what says you and me go do something interesting together, in the bedroom obviously! You are a bird I take it, no bloke would say they were looking for romance, or at least I hope they wouldn't. I know it's hard to believe but I am actually available. And also looking for someone with a longer attention span and intellectual capacity than it takes to read three short paragraphs!
