Homophobic Abuse/possible attack- Rockingham Street today!

Hi!

Just thought i would share this here to let people know what has happened today

 

I work in a building on Division Street and was told by colleague that her boyfriend was stopped in the Rockingham Street Car Park today just after 12.00pm by two men in their late 20's early 30's saying "we've just seen two faggots kissing and smashed their faces in" the colleagues boyfriend was then walking to his van and was followed by these two idiots saying that "i bet your a faggot" "Are you a faggot" He then got into his van but was blocked in by these two idiots standing in front of his van.

 

What a vile attitude some people have in 2013.. Suppose some people cant accept others for who they choose to love...

There was a police presence already in the area at this point near to where these gentlemen were so i think it was already reported/ being reported.

Scum like these dont need an excuse to act the way they do. They may not even care that much wether someone is gay or not and if they thought about it (assuming they're capable of such things) would probably be indifferent. Your colleague's boyfriend would presumably be able to provide a good description of the pair, so it could be useful for him to contact the police anyway.
