Broomhead reservior shot fixed.

The horizon was slightly out on this recent snap of mine and a small number of members thought it looked odd,i personally thought it added a slightly off beat effect, handy for the down hill ski-ing eventBroomheadreserviour-edited.jpg

Looks way better :-) now we just need a monster poking its head up from the water.

the horizon it in the middle of the shot which is not pleasing on the eye. a crop with the horizon line at 1/3 or 2/3 will give it a better look.

if you play with the image in crop and move the horizon up or down you will see what i mean. its not that it's displeasing but you will see what i mean.

 

in photography the is some thing called the rule of 3rds

he was trying to balance the proportion of sky vs water, if i have time i will retake the shot over the weekend
