New hand car wash @ Attercliffe.

Recommended Posts

Anyone else tried the new car wash opposite the Police Station, although there is a guy holding a sign up outside that says hand car wash £3 that is a wash only. It was £5 to have it dried, but they also cleaned all the glass, dried door sills and dressed the tyres.

Made a good job, will use them again.

By the way I have no connection with this business, but because they did a good job I thought they were worth a mention.

I find most of these car washes are very hit and miss. Sometimes you get a great job the other time they make a pigs ear of it.

Beats ******* about yourself tho.

I saw children sat on the pavement out front with signs this last week. I don't like that. It also looks distinctly eastern European, not that that is necessarily a problem but I wonder if they have employer's liability insurance and are registered as a company or sole trader so they can pay taxes on what they earn.

Being opposite a police station I'm sure nobody would be daft enough to not have insurance and be registered with the tax man....

Being as it's more of a HMRC problem than a police issue I doubt the police would give it a look without a prompt from the tax officials.

If it isn't quite kosher then these places can shut down as fast as they can pop-up.

Although I'm sure it's a fine place.

I will have a look for the certificates that they are legally required to show next time I am going past.

my issue with these places are they are not licensed probably have no business insurance or pay business rates Taxes etc and also dont have facilities to recycle the water they use or treat the run off so as to filter any potentially harmful chemicals used.

it is also an ideal place to launder proceeds of illegal activities mainly drugs
