taxman   12 #87 Posted May 10, 2013 Feeding time  Has anyone been able to identify what it is they are being fed on? I'd imagine that feral pigeons would be on the menu quite a bit and I'd have thought by the size of some of the woodpigeons around here they'd be easy to catch as well.  I remember seeing one pursuing a greenshank once, now that was a proper race! Gleadly   11 #93 Posted May 14, 2013 What about the kids!! They can't keep still.  Have missed it for a few days. Has the last egg hatched?  I think I can only see 3 small heads.
 Share this content via...
NorthernStar   11 #94 Posted May 14, 2013 (edited) Had a look in on them this morning and saw the chicks being fed from a birds dismembered head, looked like something from a horror movie.  Cute!  What about the kids!! They can't keep still. Have missed it for a few days. Has the last egg hatched?  I think I can only see 3 small heads.  This morning I could see part of the egg behind the mound of the chicks, I assumed that the last egg is a duff but I wouldn't know for sure. Becky B Â Â 31 #95 Posted May 14, 2013 The adult looks like (s)he is sitting higher off the platform tonight than last night - the chicks must be getting bigger!
 Share this content via...
