I've been watching the Nottingham and Norwich birds too on Saturday the Nottingham bird brought what looked like a seagull I didn't think that would be possible! Amazing any one else see it? Thinking of phoning them up to see if they can confirm this.

I once had the privilege of seeing a peregrine returning to its nest, about 30m to the right of where I was climbing - on Raven Crag in Langdale, dangling a rabbit from its talons so I wouldn't imagine a seagull to be too much of a challenge weight-wise. Killing it in the first place - well, it's just like a big pigeon isn't it?

Is it normal for the parents to be away from the nest for long periods? I watched one of the parents feeding the chicks at 9.00 pm, it flew off shortly afterwards and has not returned since.

That is amazing is the picture live?.

How do I keep the site on my P.C..

Sorry but I am not a P.C. expert.

Just save to favs top right star inbetween home icon and the cog.

but don't forget to name it in favs ie Birds or you will loose it again.

The chicks look hungry again! They're really squawking for their dinner right now! Think mum must of took a break while rain was bad.

Have they fledged or all stuffed in that corner again?

At least one there this morning, right-hand corner as we look at it..

Just checked a minute ago, and no sign....

[EDIT]

A few minutes later, mum, 3 chicks and one ex-pigeon.....
