Electerrific   14 #1 Posted May 22, 2013 I mixed some pasta/sweetcorn, tuna and Asda Tomato sauce yesterday and was leaving some extra to cool down so I could pop it in the fridge. But forgot!  So it was left on the side overnight, uncovered. The room is clean and quite cool, no windows open. Should I chuck the pasta, or will it be edible still?  Thanks
 Share this content via...
happyaslarry   13 #2 Posted May 22, 2013 Sniff it, stick your finger in and lick it and if it seems all right it is. Think what we did before fridges.
 Share this content via...
katy1981 Â Â 10 #3 Posted May 22, 2013 thats a judgement call. personally id chuck it mainly due to the tuna being in it.
 Share this content via...

Little Ding   10 #5 Posted June 22, 2013 What we did before we had a fridge was keep it on a cold stone shelf in the entry which replicated refrigerated conditions. Room temperature without this facility increases your chance of food poisoning...chuck it love!
 Share this content via...
Farslad   10 #6 Posted June 23, 2013 Personally, I would eat it. But then I have a cast iron stomach and not much effects me.
 Share this content via...
