px200 Â Â 10 #1 Posted May 8, 2013 can anyone shed any light on this..i have an epson all singing all dancing printer..SX425W...i really need to print some work out and its just printing blank pages...ive done a trouble shoot its comin back fine......coloured inks are all full the black is just under half......ive done a nozzle clean,a head clean and a realinement.. any ideas??????????? davyboy   19 #6 Posted May 9, 2013 I think that if you try to print when the head is blocked you can wreck the head by overheating it. The ink is shot onto the paper by heating it. I had an epson which I had to junk when it was impossible to unblock the head. My g/daughter's Canon printer has died for the same reason. It's uneconomic to buy a new printer head.
