mirasek   10 #1 Posted May 5, 2013 Hi, anyone can help, i move nearly tinsley, and have look around my house, its great canal and I am fisherman. anyone know about fishing in this canal, from motorway bridge to motorpoint arena? Somewhere its bord said its just for members but some fisherman tell me its now free?!!! Anyone can help me for true answer about fishing in this canal and what kinde of fish here? chidorii   10 #3 Posted May 5, 2013 yes as don says, free as-long as you have bought your rod license, great fishing to be had in the basins down the way.  As for the long stretch from the basins to the quays, I'm not sure (i hope to gain some experience soon!). I know some of the fish stocks have been illegally eaten (seen the evidence unfort). But saying that, the stretch must hold 10million gallons of water & thousands of fish, so I'm really not sure, anyone else been on that bit recently?
