Socrates Womens FC needs players!!

I am involved in running a women's football team, based at Totley, known as Socrates FC. Originally formed in 1998, we are the only all female club in the Sheffield & Hallamshire area and have progressed from a junior club to now playing in the Women's league.

 

We play on Sunday afternoons and train on Tuesday evenings.

 

It is too late for anyone to sign for the current season but I would like to make contact with anyone who may be interested in playing in the 2013 / 2014 season.

A few more details to tempt you with:

We are a Charter Standard Club.

Annual fees are £20!! (A fraction of what some clubs charge).

We play on the fields adjacent the Cricket Inn pub.

We will be getting back together on the 7th of August for training (in Totley) before the season starts again in September.

Current age range is 17 to below 30 (!) but we will happily welcome ladies of any age above 16.

I'll add a Facebook link when my own daughter sorts the IT aspects of this out!
