gadget_man   10 #13 Posted April 22, 2013 Can't see the need to skim the old cast iron head off an A series tbh Just chuck a new gasket in there  I agree ming,i don't think in all the years that i was repairing cars,that i ever had to have a cast metal head skimmed,.its the alloy ones that usually need it.
