mort   10 #4 Posted April 20, 2013 The images need to be in a .jpg format and if your camera has high resolution then it's very probable that the images are just too large for the resizer to cope with.  We do have an automatic resizer working on the image uploader, but above about 1Mb file size, the upload takes so long that the connection times out and creates an error message. The finished image will be compressed to just 50Kb or thereabouts when it is visible on the forum, so it's likely to work better if you upload the images to your computer and then reduce their size to 100-200Kb using a simple picture editor like IrfanView to make them more manageable, then save them to your computer as a .jpg and upload those versions.  ---------- Post added 20-04-2013 at 17:17 ----------  to add a link - go to the site, select the image and then copy the url from the bar in your browser and paste it into the text in your advert.
