Bypassblade   10 #1 Posted April 16, 2013 Next Permanent Sheffield United Manager,  Apparently these are the current odds with people linked with the job, I will put my thoughts next to each in bold.  Chris Morgan Would be a popular fans choice  Wally Downes Don't want this berk within 100 miles of the Lane  Neil Warnock Non starter IMO  Chris Wilder He's done okay but could he step up  Stuart McCall Dreadful at Bradford, done okay in easier Scotland  John Pemberton Like morgs would be popular  Phil Parkinson Done okay at Bradford, but could he step up  Steve Kean Not in a million years  Eddie Howe He would not leave Bournemouth  Nick Barmby Never  Gary Megson If people thought Wilson was hated, then KM would be mental to even consider this bloke  Paul Dickov One FA cup win over Liverpool not enough  Micky Adams Tried once & failed  Paul Jewell Please god no  Glyn Hodges No experience  Alan Knill No thanks  Steve McClaren LMAO   Aidy Boothroyd No thanks  Iain Dowie Never and too ugly  Karl Robinson Would he leave MKD  Kevin Blackwell Getting chuffin silly now  Michael Appleton No  Owen Coyle Would not say no  Craig Levein Ha ha ha  Brian Deane Not proven though fans hero  Alan Irvine Still LMAO  Alex McLeish Hopeless  Gareth Southgate No thanks  Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink Are they having a laugh  Keith Curle No not good enough  Lets have some thoughts on who you'd like, I got these off a betting site
 Share this content via...
rossyrooney   12 #2 Posted April 16, 2013 If they paired up Dowie and Morgs the players would be terrified of losing and going back to the dressing room:hihi:
 Share this content via...
Hotmale 1954   201 #3 Posted April 16, 2013 Eddie Howe  Steve McClaren  Micky Adams  Karl Robinson  Owen Coyle  Alex McLeish  Only these 6 have got either an outstanding talent, and / or the experience to do the United job. They've all 'succeeded' at one club or another.  'Wally with the brolly' has done pretty well at club level overall.  Mickey Adams' proving yet again at Vale that he knows what he's doing.  Eddie Howe has a special talent, but I don't think he'd come up North.  Robbo got 'em buzzin at MK, and with a bit more dosh could do a great job, but like you say, would he leave MK?  Coyle has done brilliantly below Prem level. Would be a good choice I reckon.  Alex McLeish has seen it and done it. A much maligned manager who just needs 'the right club'. United could be that club. Bypassblade   10 #4 Posted April 16, 2013 Eddie Howe   Alex McLeish has seen it and done it. A much maligned manager who just needs 'the right club'.  United could be that club.  He had his time at Rangers, ruined Brum, Villa and was on way to doing same at Florist. I'd have Coyle he's good manager.
 Share this content via...
WasThatWise   10 #5 Posted April 16, 2013 Chris Coleman would be my choice but from the list it would be Michael Appleton.
 Share this content via...
s2 blade   10 #6 Posted April 16, 2013 I'd take Steve MclClaren But would rather let Morgan have a go before any of em tbh
 Share this content via...
missymoo73 Â Â 10 #7 Posted April 16, 2013 Morgs for me. Â He knows United inside out and should be given a chance to prove himself -5 games for me isnt enough for him to prove himself. Â Time will tell
 Share this content via...
