Can You Have a Conversation Using Just Song Lyrics?(part 24)

Keep your mind on your driving
Keep your hands on the wheel
Keep your snoopy eyes on the road ahead
We're having fun, sitting in the back seat kissing and hugging with Fred.

The laser lights are pretty
We may end up in Mexico city
But listen to her daddy's song
Making love is wrong
Ooh, we're just busy riding
Sitting in the back seat of my car

Engine started smoking, wings on fire
Big wheel started shaking and we lost a tyre
My baby, she exploded drinking gasoline
Doggone, that doggone, that mean machine
We were doing swell, what a short way from Heaven to Hell.

Big wheel keep on turnin'
Proud Mary keep on burnin'
Rollin', rollin', rollin' on the river

Well, I rolled and I tumbled, cried the whole night long
Well, I woke up this morning, didn't know right from wrong.

Well, if the river was whiskey, and I was a diving duck
Well, I would dive to the bottom, never would I come up.

Rolling and tumbling ain't done me no harm
Gonna boogie my night all away
Rita and Greta been twisting my arm into
Heading out west
Down to the Burlesque
Saving my ace through to you

Let's dance

Put on your red shoes and dance the blues.

Oh, I used to be disgusted
And now I try to be amused
But since their wings have got rusted
You know, the angels want to wear my red shoes

I remember as a child
I was absolutely wild
About some red shoes that my aunt Lucy wore
She would let me stomp around
In those high heels up and down
Round the house and round the wrap-around porch

And from that moment on
I've had a pair of my own
They make me feel at home and brand new
They build my confidence
As if they've been heaven sent
I feel alone, I'm putting on my red shoes

Lady Madonna
Children at your feet
Wonder how you manage to make ends meet

Who finds the money
When you pay the rent?
Did you think that money was heaven-sent?

I work all night, I work all day, to pay the bills I have to pay,

Ain't it sad,

And still there never seems to be a single penny left for me,

That's too bad  ........................

I'm a lumberjack and I'm OK
I sleep all night and I work all day
