I've not come across anything that works on win 7 but not win 8 other than some corporate stuff like restore software built in to os preinstalled comps and laptops. I seriously don't see peoples problems with win 8 on here.  Maybe i'm in some sort of parallel universe using a different version of win 8.  I seriously don't see what is so bad with it.  I'm totally with you, widows 8 is 7 with fancy start screen the only thing in missing is the aero glass theme, which i can probably download from somewhere. It works fine but is more complicated than 7, due to the rubbish metro interface, which i don't use, so it's not a "problem".
