I want to install windows 7

But it is win 7 with a tile style start menu. I've not come across anything that works on win 7 but not win 8 other than some corporate stuff like restore software built in to os preinstalled comps and laptops.

 

I seriously don't see peoples problems with win 8 on here.

 

Maybe i'm in some sort of parallel universe using a different version of win 8.

 

I seriously don't see what is so bad with it.

 

I'm totally with you, widows 8 is 7 with fancy start screen the only thing in missing is the aero glass theme, which i can probably download from somewhere.

Well you wouldn't would you, as it's just personal preferences, nothing more nor less. It works fine but is more complicated than 7, due to the rubbish metro interface, which i don't use, so it's not a "problem".

Its your personal preference and I respect that 100%, but I will stick with What I have already said.

 

You have only used it for 5 minutes and don't know how to use it and set it up.

 

If you had you would see it is a fancified version of win 7.

 

I cant see what you struggle with. Its no more complicated than win 7 when you know how to use it and set it up.

I said earlier i use classic shell so can't in that context see the advantage over using 7.

Argumentative? or just stating facts?

 

Why do you need classic shell? there is a perfectly usable start menu.
