What's the precise error message you get when trying to install windows 7 on your computer, andcan you describe the precise steps you take to install it, and when the error occurs?

Copy disc to USB stick, set PC boot order to USB first, sit back and follow instructions.

Did you check the pc would run 7 first? I.e. ram, processor, motherboard, disk space ?

 

When does the error message appear?

 

What pc are you looking to load it on?

If you really don'y have a clue, get someone to do if for you. Loads of people on here will did it for a small fee.

I have had the same problem today.

Went to do a fresh install, and it wont boot from CD drive or usb - had to do it as an upgrade

If you already have an older version of windows on the computer, you can only go the upgrade route.

 

If you want a fresh install then you have to format the drive first

It should have read the dvd as I set it to boot from that..all I got was a flashing cursor..
