Come on Pete! I've been chasing up a replacement Zyxel to replace my faulty Cellpipe.

I got fed up of waiting and bought a HG612.

Can I get a Zyxel please? It's not like I've not referred enough customers to you.

And I'm on the MAX package.

If the cellpipe is faulty, you shouldn't have a problem getting it switched. have you already reported your cellpipe as faulty? If so, it should have been replaced.

The problem we have is swapping working cellpipes (as Origin don't carry stock).

Genuinely faulty kit should be no problem.

Cheers, Oliver rang me earlier.

Sorry for airing this publicly, but nothing seems to get done when I ring up.

Origin-Pete - just tried your link to the Origin site to check my postcode in case there is any chance we may get some kind of service and when I put my postcode into the check it crashes IE 10. Is it trying to tell me something about my chances of getting high speed broadband or is it a glitch?

The page address is

I would give them a call instead, I don't trust the online checker.

Delighted to say that my Origin is still going strong at over 60MB.. and also very delighted that I made the switch from TalkTalk when I did as the 'supposed' Fibre install meant for the 30th April in Walkley has NOT happened....

All hail Origin!

I've got to say since being with Origin from 16th April apart from a few dropped connections for the first week I can't fault them

It's nice to see people happy. When a company has thousands of customers, there's always going to be one or two that we can't please due to a poor quality line or other external obstacles beyond our control. We try as hard as we can for every customer though.

Any Origin customer wishing to give a review on ispreview would be welcome as we currently only have a few people expressing their view on there - and it's always the same: a customer will only post a review if they're a bit mad at you - or you've performed a miracle for them. lol
