Side 2 of Hounds of Love is one of the finest sides of any album ever.

She sounded like a tortured cat in a ally way.

I've recently put all of my music collection onto a couple of hard drives so I could fill some mp3 players and a big memory stick to go into the car with it all, and that has resulted in me hearing a lot more of my music than I used to (putting it on random gives some rather odd segues but definitely airs more music than one can do manually) and I did end up with a couple of tracks off Sensual World on this afternoon on my way back from having the car serviced.

I don't rate her last couple of albums at all I'm afraid, but the earlier ones are definitely worth a listen.

I like her songs, but not her voice.

Sheffield Forums Tyranna's version has me wetting myself with laughter

Kate Bush's early stuff was great, not keen on her later stuff though.

Sensual World is brilliant. "Never be Mine" and those Bulgarian banshees. Genius.

Yes I agree, personally. Walked to the shops yesterday with my mp3 player on- Lionheart and Kick Inside!

...talent, class and intelligence...

Yes, that just about sums it up.

Love her music, her style and especially her am dram videos.

Don't you mean ham dram? One gets the feeling she thoroughly enjoys making the videos. So many brilliant ones but the official video for "There Goes a Tenner" is one of my faves.

...and "Love and Anger". Always feel slightly out of breath by the end of that one.

No, Ramps & Taxman. Not in that way ... Have a listen - right to the end.
