Send it back and spend abit more on a wired Xbox controller, saves a lot of hassle

Yes, it does make the notification noise when plugged in, but doesn't appear or work.

 

Xbox handset it is from town, somewhere.

Sorry but if I had bought something from ebay and it didnt work I would either return it or else for such a small amount buy a brand new one that I KNOW will work and have full peace of mind that if there was a problam I can get my money back - I am not knocking the guy, just puzzled why people are getting stressed about something so cheap.
