It's not an argument - just an observation. we were all very excited about the filming in Sheffield for series one. The forum was flooded. Where were you then?

Definitely filmed in Sheffield ..Can't remmerber the name of School just of Prince of wales road.But that was 1 location maybe the prison .Plus on last nights showing spotted Greenhill

Deffo filmed in Sheffield - the scene where the guns were in the back of the car was on a side street off Attercliffe Road, the new flat they moved to after the house fire was on West Street, and Concord was used for several weeks for filming. I also saw the cast a few times one out of the Mercure Hotel in town and get in people carriers presumably to travel to filming.

the schools by Prince of Wales Road are (from top to bottom)

 

Prince Edward School, (at Manor Top)

St Theresa's School (about halfway down the top section)

Pipworth Primary, and Waltheof Secondary pretty much opposite each other, at the Parkway roundabout,

and Acres Hill just off the main road, below the parkway roundabout

I don't think it was filmed in Sheffield .......all old scenes from series one......but where they buried the guy?.......let's speculate - we all need a good place ;)

 

I know the bit where the guy got shot in the car was on wasteland behind Parkgate Retail World in Rotherham - recognised the two low bridges straight away on the A6123 before they turned into the open cast site.
