Forget all that what is going on! Somebody has set up a myspace as Gayham without my authorisation!!! It's not me!! I only found out about this today! Whoever it is, is in serious trouble as everything I do character/website/scripts is copyrighted by LAW. I'm going to be contacting the relevant people about this so whoever you are I suggest you shut it down now before I press charges! This is VERY serious, if you know who it is please message me.

Using someone else's name is not breach of copyright.

 

You cannot hold a copyright for a name.

 

A copyright is an automatic right that an author holds for such things as lyrics, written works and recordings, it does not cover text which is only the length of a sentence or just one word. Copyright law does not cover web sites but it can cover some content on web sites.

 

Impersonating someone is against terms and conditions of myspace though. I have had someone's myspace account deleted for breaching my copyright (music), they get no warning, they simply receive an email from myspace saying that the account has been deleted. I had to try twice to get a response from myspace, they only took action when I threatened legal action against myspace.
