i frequently use 99p store can't beat it.

I have been LOL at the comments. I have never witnessed fighting. But it is true there are not enough tills open.

B&M have some cheaper items too, cheaper than 99P store in some cases

No its the ones that get valuable training stacking shelves that are the work program slaves, the ones on the tills are paid employees.

I was in the 99p shop this lunchtime, and witnessed a brawl at the tills.

 

Two women were scrapping, I don't know what about, but there was a lot of punching, yelling, swearing, and pushing going on!

 

One of the women pushed the other into the display at the tillside, and that went flying, depositing the batteries all over the floor.

The whole commotion scared a little toddler half to death, as she waited in the queue with her mum.

 

It wasn't at all "seemly"!

 

you see, you don't get this class of customer in Poundland - it really is worth trading up.
