Canx   10 #11 Posted March 4, 2013 Have a look at the Spice website:  http://www.spiceyorks.com  You don't have to join, you can just do the occasional activity here and there or it could give you ideas which you could then research online and sort out yourself.  Or, if you're activity-minded, try Greentop Circus School - set up by the Challenge Anneka programme some years ago, a fun way to try out something you'd never thought of before! You don't have to be mega-fit and do trapeze, there are some activities for us lesser mortals - poi, diabolo, stilt walking.  Get yourself on the emailing lists for Sheffield International Venues, then you'll find out about events at Sheffield City Hall, the Arena, other places, some can be pricey though, but if you get on the Crucible theatre mailing list, they do cheap "Public Dress Rehearsals", which are no different to a "proper" show - I saw Kenneth Branagh for £1 some years ago!  Hope you settle in well to your new home
 Share this content via...
