cumo2 Â Â 10 #1 Posted February 23, 2013 (edited) We are holding another big and bargain-filled Jumble Sale at Carfield Primary School, Argyle Close, S8, on Saturday 9th March, 10.30am-12.30pm. Â If you have been before, you will know we are very cheap, extremely cheerful, have masses of stuff, and Cafe Carfield is the best retro-style tea room with delicious homemade cakes and drinks. Â If you haven't been before, then please come along and grab some bargains! Adults and kids clothes, accessories, toys, books, bric-a-brac, homewares - we've got it all, and we would love to see you! Â All proceeds go to Carfield School. metalman   21 #3 Posted March 11, 2013 I went to this and thought it was quite good, but if you want a suggestion, it would have been useful (especially for people like me who hadn't been before) if you'd made it clear on the notices and so on that there was a 50p admission charge for adults - then we could have had the money ready rather than getting to the table and having to ask how much it was to get in.
