That sounds like you have a cookies error on your machine barts96.

 

To sort this out, look in the Options menu of your browser and find where your Cookies options are, manually remove anything with 'sheffieldforum' in it, then restart your browser to clear your cache and then sign in to SF ticking the 'Remember Me' box again.

 

Practice tells us that (for some strange reason) manually removing SF cookies works better than clearing all cookies (and yes, we know it should make no difference) and that most people have to go through the removal process twice for it to work properly afterwards, but it does work well (eventually!).

 

Hopefully that will have you sorted in a few minutes

I have the same problem.. but mine only kicks me out when i receive a pm.. which i find weird... logs me in perfect all the rest of the time.. but as soon as a pm is received im out lol.. ya just get used to it

Clear cookies and then sign in again and make sure you click on the 'Remember Me' box.
