It's funny looking back at Morrissey and Marr. How unlikely a pair they were. Morrissey all ethereal lyrics and angst ridden story-telling and Marr driving guitars and musical perfection.

 

But when they met.....

When I was at school everyone knew that I knew how to gatecrash The City Hall and get in to see bands for free,some girls in my class asked me to get them in to see The Smiths I didn't know them then but I agreed.We got in and this video although filmed a couple of months previous was the same set to say I was gobsmacked would be an understatement complete life changer!

 

I wish i saw them at that time

 

And to think I went with mates to see Whitesnake at the City hall. I should be ashamed of myself.
