How much is the 272 to castleton?

as the title suggests i am going to castleton to do some walks and wondered if anyone knew how much it costs to go to castleton from sheffield?thanks

First don't seem to publish fares. A First Day Peak Explorer is £6.50 - may be cheapest way.

Their site says a single costs between £1 and £3.50.

You can get a train to Hope and walk to Castleton from there. It's £6.40 return.

Day return is £5 or £6 last time i went in summer. Most likely single will be £3.50.

 

272 Day return is also valid on the train as well.
