Think I need a builder - recommendations please

I have received the following email from my letting agent today-

 

"We have been out this afternoon to inspect the property. Everything is ok other than we noticed one of the steps on the stairs was moving and looking in the understairs cupboard the step has cracked. Could you please arrange for this to be repaired as soon as possible before it gets worse or the tenant falls through."

 

I guess I need a general builder so if anybody can recommend a builder S25 area I can email pictures of the cracked step togive them an idea of the job that needs doing

Is this in wood? then you need a joiner. I have used jeff off here he is reliable and good.

the reason i did not use the other thread is because those recommendations do not say where the people are located - also i was not sure what specialism i needed because i do not live at the property. obviously i need to get more info about that but it was getting someone local i was more bothered about

I haven't had any jobs done by Joiner Andy but know two people on her that have and they rate him highly. Judging by conversations we've had on here he is top guy and I'm absolutely positive he will do a good job
